Bank Robbed Friday on Lee Highway in Arlington

Suspect is described as stocky, about 6 feet tall.

Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed an Arlington Bank at around lunchtime Friday.

At approximately 12:02 p.m., on Friday, a male subject robbed the United Bank located at 5350 Lee Highway in Arlington. The subject presented a note with demands and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Upon exiting the bank, the subject fled in an unknown direction.

The subject is described as a Black male with a stocky build, wearing a gray short-sleeved polo shirt and black ball cap. He is estimated to weigh about 230 pounds and 6 feet tall.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robber.

The FBI and the Arlington County Police Department are investigating this robbery and request that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or the Arlington County Crime Solvers tip line at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
