Biden Visit To Lubber Run Friday Prompts Road Closures
President Joe Biden will be taking part in a special event Friday evening at the Lubber Run Community Center in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, VA — President Joe Biden will be attending a special event Friday in Arlington, which means motorists can expect a number of road closures to impact their evening commute.
The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, at Lubber Run Park, which is located at 300 N. Park D. in Arlington.
In anticipation of large crowds and increased traffic, Arlington County Police will close the following roads starting at 1 p.m.:

- Park Drive from N. George Mason Drive to 3rd Street N.
- 3rd Street N. from N. Park Drive to N. Columbus Street
In addition, police will implement the following closure during the event:
- George Mason Drive from N. Carlin Springs Road to N. Henderson Road
ACPD may institute additional road closures if they deem it necessary. Motorists driving near the area should follow the directions of police officers.

All facilities at the community center will be closed on Friday, including the playground, courts, and amphitheater. The center and outdoor facilities will reopen at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Parking for the event is limited. The public is encouraged to take multi-modal and public transportation to reduce the number of vehicles in the area. There will be no parking at the community center garage on N. Park Dr. or on N. 3rd Street. However, parking is available at the Ballston Parking Garage, which is within walking distance.
The designated ride share pick-up and drop-off location is at the K.W. Barrett Elementary School roundabout, located at 4401 N Henderson Drive.
