Big Art Gallery Coming to Crystal City Soon
Gallery Underground will be hosting a juried competition called "Road Trip."

Attention art enthusiasts: a big show is coming to Arlington this May.
Gallery Underground is hosting a juried competition titled "Road Trip" in the Crystal City Underground. It will feature all types of media and aims to "personalize" the many different aspects of taking a road trip, whether that be scenes from the road, modes of transportation or imagined journeys, according to a statement.
The gallery will run from May 2-28, with an opening reception at 5 p.m. on May 6.

The gallery will also feature the work of glass artist Steena Fullmer Anderson (also known as Buddha Kitty Glass), who uses a fused glass technique for her art.
The gallery will be located in the Crystal City Shops at 2100 Crystal Drive, and is sponsored by the Arlington Artists Alliance in partnership with the Crystal City Business Improvement District and Vornado/Charles E. Smith.

The hours of the gallery will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
