Bloomberg BNA Expanding Arlington Headquarters, Will Add 125 Jobs

Bloomberg BNA will be moving 100 employees from a Maryland office to the Crystal City location, and invest $5.5 million in the expansion.

ARLINGTON, VA — Bloomberg BNA has announced that it will be expanding its Arlington headquarters, earning a $500,000 grant from the state of Virginia and adding 125 new jobs to the Crystal City area.

Bloomberg BNA is a legal research and executive report firm. It relocated from D.C. to Crystal City back in 2007, and was acquired by Bloomberg in 2011 for about $1 billion. Bloomberg BNA will invest $5.5 million to expand the headquarters, and will move 100 people in Bethesda to the Crystal City office, according to multiple news reports.

Bloomberg BNA had mulled sites in Maryland and D.C. as well before settling on the Crystal City location.

“Our first quarter was a record quarter for new sales,” said Bloomberg spokesman David Peikin according to a WTOP report. “We have been adding head count in areas such as engineering and product development and (we) continue expanding our product offerings."

Bloomberg BNA employs about 1,000 people in the Washington region.
