Bobcat Spotted in Arlington Neighborhood [Video]
Just days after Ollie the bobcat's escape and return to the National Zoo, an Arlington resident spotted one here in the county.
ARLINGTON, VA — Not long after the wayward bobcat Ollie escaped and then returned to the National Zoo in D.C., an Arlington resident caught video of another bobcat in a neighbor's backyard.
Evelyn Powers posted a video of the bobcat to YouTube on Feb. 4, which she states was taken in the Donaldson Run area in northern Arlington.
"Stephen Powers spotted a bobcat in our neighbors backyard," the caption states. "She was super chill-relaxing in the sun. We enjoyed our visit... from afar of course."

The bobcat can be found in most of the contiguous United States, as well as Canada and Mexico, although the D.C. area is a little bit outside of its range. They look like large housecats, and are elusive creatures that avoid human contact.
