Boy Suffers Serious Injuries From Stabbing In Ballston: Police

A boy who was stabbed during a fight Tuesday evening was taken to Virginia Hospital Center for treatment, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA— A boy who suffered stab wounds during a fight in the Ballston area Tuesday evening was taken to Virginia Hospital Center for treatment, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The victim’s injuries are considered serious but non-life threatening, police said.

Around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, a group of six to 10 juveniles got into a fight at the corner of Wilson Blvd. and N. Piedmont Street. When police arrived on the scene, the juveniles had left. Police canvassed the area and found evidence of an injury in the 500 block of N. Quincy Street, police said.

The police did not get descriptions of the person who stabbed the boy and are continuing to investigate the case.
