Brand New Beer Garden to Open Soon on Columbia Pike: Report

A vacant building across the street from Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse will soon be the area's new watering hole.

Columbia Pike is getting a new beer garden.

The long-vacant building at 2900 Columbia Pike -- right across the street from Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse -- will be the new home of BrickHaus, a bar and restaurant focused on beer, according to an ArlNow.com report.

The property is being developed by Tony Wagner, who also owns Twisted Vines Bottleshop and Bistro just across the street at 2803 Columbia Pike, according to the report.

The beer garden will be on the first floor, and about 20 beers will be on tap. The restaurant will also have an outdoor patio and a second floor that will serve as a steakhouse.

The restaurant should open later this summer.
