Brazen Armed Robbery in Broad Daylight in Downtown Rosslyn: Police
Police say the man robbed a gas station in the middle of the day on Tuesday.

ARLINGTON, VA — A man robbed a gas station in the heart of Rosslyn in a brazen daytime crime that has police searching for a suspect, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Police say a man walked into the gas station in the 1800 block of N. Ft. Myer Drive in the midst of Rosslyn's downtown area just after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, and approached the clerk, the police report states.
He then "implied he had a weapon and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise," the report adds, noting that the man managed to escape on foot before police arrived.

Police described him as a black man with a black beard who was wearing a red shirt, black shorts, a black hat, black shoes and black glasses.
