Earlier Fairfax Cases Included Misdemeanor Conviction

The charge was reduced to a Class 1 misdemeanor, and Payton received a suspended 180-day jail sentence, according to the court record.
Court records show a separate misdemeanor assault and battery charge, with an alleged offense date of Jan. 25, 2023, was dismissed March 1, 2023.
