Burglar Sneaks Into Arlington Home Through Doggie Door

A burglar ate popsicles, whipped cream and played Pokemon after breaking into an Arlington home through the doggie door, police say.

Here’s a look at the most recent crime in Arlington County, from the Arlington County Police Crime Report released Thursday:

BURGLARY, 150812037, 900 block of S. 15th Street. Between 4:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on August 12, an unknown subject entered a residence while a couple was sleeping and stole a MacBook Pro laptop and an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties, approximately 5’11” tall, and was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

BURGLARY, 150812063, 2700 block of N. Beechwood Street. Between 12:00 p.m. on August 9 and 9:00 p.m. on August 12, an unknown suspect(s) entered a residence through a doggie door and ate the homeowners popsicles and whipped cream. The suspect(s) proceeded to play with Pokémon cards that were found in the residence. There is no subject(s) description.
