Buttigieg Event At Washington-Liberty Prompts Traffic Advisory
Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg's Town Hall event on Sunday, Feb. 23 has prompted a traffic advisory from Arlington County Police.

ARLINGTON, VA — Democratic Presidential Candidate Pete Buttigieg is participating in a town hall event on Sunday, which has prompted the Arlington County Police Department to issue a traffic advisory.
The town hall event takes place Sunday, Feb. 23, from 2:45-5 p.m., at Washington-Liberty High School, located at 1301 N. Stafford St. The event is free and open to the public, according to the Arlington County Democratic Committee.
ACPD advises the public to expect large crowds an increased foot and vehicular traffic around the high school, according to a police release. Price will monitor traffic and may close roads in the interest of public safety.

Parking is going to be limited, so ACPD encourages participants to use public transportation. The venue is within walking distance of the Ballston and Virginia Square Metro stations.
No event parking will be allowed at the North Quincy Street Development located at 1425 and 1435 N. Quincy St.

A designated rideshare pick-up and drop-off area is located t the Quincy Park parking lot (1021 N. Quincy St.) Rideshare vehicles must enter the lot in the 1000 block of N. Quincy Street and exit in the 3900 block of Washington Blvd. Drivers are prohibited from stopping or standing in travel lanes to drop-off or pick-up passengers.
