ARLINGTON, VA — The Washington-Liberty High School Crew Team is selling and delivering fresh, decorated 22-inch balsam wreaths for the holiday season.

The team is selling the holiday wreaths for $35 each in order to buy new equipment and to fund other expenses that will enable the team to operate throughout its season and the rest of the year.

Started in 1949, W-L Crew has had a long history of competitive success nationally and internationally, and has produced dozens of elite rowers as well as many high school and college coaches. Crew is a spring sport at W-L, starting in late February and running until the end of May. The team is open to any 8th to 12th grade student who attends W-L or who will be attending the high school.
