Concert for a Cause - Westover Knights Band with Center for Youth and Family Advocacy (CYFA)

Arlington's own dad-rock band turned charity machine, the Westover Knights, plays the Westover Biergarten Friday night for Center for Youth and Family Advocacy (CYFA).

Expect the same pop rock, alternative, and Americana mix that's made the band a fixture at Arlington fundraisers, plus food, drinks, and a family-friendly crowd.

The Brittain Foundation is matching every donation, dollar for dollar. That means a $25 suggested donation becomes $50 for CYFA's work in Green Valley. Can't make the show? Donate remotely here.

Center for Youth and Family Advocacy 

Center for Youth and Family Advocacy (CYFA)works to expand opportunity for youth in Green Valley through its Zone program, which strengthens literacy and math skills, builds hands-on, project-based learning, develops social-emotional growth and leadership, and runs caregiver workshops that support the whole family. Not just the kids in the program.

The Westover Knights Band

The Westover Knights Band started with a few dads who decided the neighborhood deserved a house band. What began as weekend jam sessions has grown into a six-member outfit with a four-decade setlist — Tom Petty, Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, Goose, Hozier, Foo Fighters — and a mission that's bigger than the music.

Every single Westover Knights Band show is also a charity partner event. The band has helped raise more than $60,000 for local Arlington nonprofits.
