Join the Arlington Historical Society as it hosts a talk by Kevin Vincent on the march of the French and American Armies to and from Yorktown that passed through present-day Arlington in 1781 and 1782 and our area’s specific connections with the campaign. The route of the march from Newport, Rhode Island to Yorktown, Virginia is now commemorated in the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route National Historic Trail and the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route (W3R) Association’s Victory Towns program.
