Car Burglars Smash 35 Autos In Pentagon City

The thieves broke into the cars and then stole their airbags, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are investigating after burglars smashed the windows of 35 vehicles in Pentagon City and stole their airbags.

The burglars struck cars in the 1600 block of S. Joyce St. and the 1600-2000 blocks of S. Eads Street between 8 p.m. July 6 and 7:54 a.m. on July 7, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"The windows of approximately 35 vehicles were smashed and airbags stolen," the report states. "There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing."
