Car Thieves Flee Scene After Chase Ends In Fairlington: Police
A driver and two male occupants of a car fled the scene on foot in Arlington Friday after they stole a car and were chased by police.
ARLINGTON, VA — A driver and two male occupants of a car fled the scene on foot in Arlington Friday afternoon after they stole a car and were chased by police, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Friday, police were dispatched to help the Virginia State Police, who had been chasing a stolen car that been reported stolen in Arlington last Thursday.
The driver, along with two male occupants, got out of the car at S. Abingdon Street and 30th Street South in the Fairlington neighborhood and fled the scene.

Arlington County Police officers established a perimeter and canvassed the area. But they were unable to apprehend or get any additional information on the suspects, although they did recover the stolen car.
The police do not have a description of the driver. The two occupants of the car are described as Black males in their teens to early 20s, one wearing a blue hoodie and one wearing a black hoodie, police said. Both had their hoods up.
