Check Out All the Funky Images From This Weekend's U Street Funk Parade
U Street's biggest party is over, but pictures from the event live on Twitter.

The 2016 D.C. Funk Parade is over, and pictures of the U Street festival are making the rounds on social media.
The Funk Parade was created three years ago to bring people together through music and dance, as well as to celebrate the history of the U Street region. The festival shut down the area Saturday afternoon as tens of thousands of people flocked to U Street to celebrate, dressed in all sorts of colorful attire. In addition to the parade, there were live performances from bands as well as plenty of food and drink vendors.
