Christmas Eve Mall Hours 2021: Arlington Area Shopping Malls

ARLINGTON, VA — If you missed out on the early shipping deadlines for Christmas, perhaps you need some last-minute stops for gifts.

Between Christmas Eve for late shoppers and post-Christmas shopping, Arlington has a variety of shopping malls close by.

Ballston Quarter

During the holidays, Ballston Quarter is adjusting its hours of operation to give last-minute shoppers some extra time. The mall will be open from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., on Dec. 22-23, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m., on Dec. 24.

On Christmas Day, Ballston Quarter will be closed, but it will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Dec. 26-28.

When visiting Ballston Quarter to do some last minute shopping, make sure to schedule time to stop by the Quarter Market to sample some holiday flavors and ice cream pies at Ice Cream Jubilee.

Rogi, the Quarter's stop for all things pierogi, is also offering some sweet holiday fare, from peppermint black and white cookies to reindeer bark. If your tastes are more adult, try some Eggnog spiked with homemade Catoctin Creek Rye Whiskey.

Fashion Centre at Pentagon City

Fashion Centre at Pentagon City is also adjusting its hours for the holidays. It will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m., on Dec. 22-23, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m., on Dec. 24.

The mall will be closed Christmas Day, but it will be open on Dec. 26, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Dec. 27-28.

Reservations for Santa Photos are completely booked, but walk-in visits are still available through Dec. 24.

Tysons Malls

The two malls in Tysons have adjusted hours on upcoming days. Santa photos will continue at malls through Christmas Eve. Malls and surrounding stores are generally closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

Tysons Corner Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Friday, Dec. 24. After the closure on Saturday, Dec. 25, the mall will reopen on Sunday, Dec. 26 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Those hours will continue through Dec. 30. Then hours will be adjusted on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours on New Year's Day, Saturday, Jan. 1 are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Regular hours resume on Jan. 2.

Santa photos will continue at Tyson Corner Center's Fashion Court through Dec. 24. Visits with the jolly man in red will be available by walk-in only on Dec. 23 and 24. Hours through Dec. 23 are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with breaks from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 24 hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Tysons Galleria has adjusted hours as well. Christmas Eve hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. After the Dec. 25 closure for Christmas, the mall will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Dec. 26 to 30. Special hours on New Year's Eve are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Santa photos continue through Dec. 24 on the lower level near JCrew. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 24.
