Clarendon Ballroom Closing After Two Decades
"It has been our pleasure to be part of the Clarendon community for the last 20 years," the club owners said via social media.

ARLINGTON, VA - A popular nightclub and music venue in Arlington will close its doors after nearly 20 years in business. Clarendon Ballroom will host its final New Year’s Eve party later this month.
"It has been our pleasure to be part of the Clarendon community for the last 20 years," the club owners posted on their official Facebook page. "This area has changed a great deal since we first saw a furniture and fabric store built in the 1930's as a Woolworth department store and thought that it would make an excellent music and events venue."
Although the club owners didn't say why they were closing, they do plan to end 2019 with a bang.

For nearly two decades, Clarendon Ballroom has been considered one of the DMV's most unique wedding and event venues as well as one of the area's most popular nightclubs.
For the owners, the decision to close the business is bittersweet, but they say they are grateful for the community's support for all those years.
"A big thank you to all of the special event clients, nightclub patrons, vendors, and most of all, the staff (seems like a poor word – after you work with the same people for 20 years, you feel much more like family) that joined us and supported us in this adventure," the club owners said.
Clarendon Ballroom is located at 3185 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington. For more information, visit https://www.clarendonballroom.com/.
