ARLINGTON, VA -- It's Columbus Day on Monday, and that means one thing: beware if you've got errands planned that day in Arlington.
On holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, or even Labor Day you can be certain pretty much everything is going to be closed. But Columbus Day is a bit of a borderline holiday -- technically it's a federal holiday, but many employers don't treat it as one.

Parking: Metered areas not enforced.
ART: Will operate holiday service.

Metro: Trains will operate at Saturday service intervals. Metrobus will operate on a Saturday supplemental schedule.
