Missing Arlington Dance Founder Found Dead In Potomac River
Susannah Keefe, founder of Go Bananas Dancing, was found dead in the Potomac River after she was reported missing.

ARLINGTON, VA — Susannah Keefe, the founder and director of an Arlington children’s dance program, was found dead in the Potomac River after being reported missing, according to authorities.
The Metropolitan Police Department’s Harbor Patrol Unit found Keefe, 52, near Fletcher’s Cove around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, an agency spokesperson told ARLnow. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
“This is currently a death investigation,” Metropolitan Police said. “The cause and manner of death will be determined by the D.C. Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

Keefe, a mother of two, founded Go Bananas Dancing in 2009. The program offers classes through the Arlington Department of Parks and Recreation.
