Crystal City Purse-Snatching Under Investigation By Arlington Police

ARLINGTON, VA — A woman suffered minor injuries when she was attacked Friday night by a man who stole her purse, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Police responded to the incident around 8:45 p.m. on Friday. They learned that the victim was walking in the 1300 block of Crystal Drive when an unknown man got out of a silver SUV, approached the victim and stole her purse.

The man then got back into the SUV and fled the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries and declined treatment by medics, police said.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shit, black pants and a black mask.
