WASHINGTON, DC — Heading into the final weekend before Halloween, several spooky events are planned across Northern Virginia and DC. There's also fun runs as well as theater and music events, and a haunted wine tour.

We've rounded up local events happening Friday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 24. This weekend includes haunted attractions like the terrifying walk-through experience at the Workhouse in Lorton.

There's also Loudoun Museum's Hauntings event where staff and volunteers takes attendees on a downtown walking tour, telling stories about the historic homes and their inhabitants from the past, some highly ghostly in nature.
