Nineteen universities in Virginia made Money magazine's ranking of the best education values in the country. The University of Virginia in Charlottesville is ranked No. 11, and Washington and Lee University in Lexington is ranked at No. 16 for best value in the country. READ MORE.

DC, Virginia's Best Colleges: 26 Make Forbes List

A ranking of top colleges in the U.S., which is described as "fiscally minded," looks at schools that give you the best value for your buck. Four Virginia schools and two in Washington, D.C., cracked the top 100 on Forbes' "America's Top Colleges List" for 2017, while a total of 26 in the region were among the magazine's rankings of top schools in the Northeast and South. These Virginia, DC Universities Are Among The Best In The World

U.S. News & World Report ranked the best global universities, and it comes as no surprise that several of those schools are in Virginia and Washington, D.C. The University of Virginia placed highest in the region, in a tie for No. 107, while Virginia Tech is No. 250, George Washington University lands at No. 260 and Georgetown University is No. 29. U.S. News and World Report has crunched the numbers for 2017, releasing its annual list of best high schools in the country, ranking the schools on national and state levels. Niche, a school rating site and directory, has unveiled their rankings for the best public elementary schools in Virginia for 2017, and it was a clean sweep for Arlington in the top 10, and a dominant performance by Northern Virginia schools in general. READ MORE.

Best Elementary Schools in DC 2017: Here Are Niche's Top 25 in the District

Niche, a school rating site and directory, has unveiled their rankings for the best public elementary schools in D.C. for 2017. Northeast school Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School topped the list, followed by runner up Community Academy Public Charter School (CAPCS) in Northwest. READ MORE.

How Virginia, DC Schools Are Ranked On Best Schools List

Niche.com is out with its latest K-12 rankings in America. Virginia high schools did moderately well, and Arlington Public Schools ranked in the top 100 on Niche's Best School Districts nationwide list, and a few schools made the top tiers of Best Public High Schools In America.
