Dead Body Found Near Windy Run Park in Arlington: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — The U.S. Park Police are investigating the discovery of a body near Windy Run Park.

U.S. Park Police spokeswoman Sgt. Anna Rose confirmed that they were looking into a dead body belonging to an adult male off of the Potomac Heritage Trail near the Arlington park.

"At this stage of the investigation, the cause of death has not been determined," Rose said. "There is no further information at this time."

A hiker discovered the body Tuesday morning, according to a Washington Post report.
