Defense Software Maker Auterion To Relocate HQ To Arlington: Report
Auterion Ltd., which makes computer platforms to support drones and robotics systems, has 112 employees in the DMV, reports say.

ARLINGTON, VA — Defense contractor Auterion Ltd., which already has 112 employees working in the greater Washington, D.C. area, is planning to relocate its headquarters from Moorpark, California to Arlington, according to news reports. The software company produces computing platforms that support drones and autonomous robotics systems.
Auterion's current HQ in the D.C. area is located across the street from the Clarendon Metro station at 3100 Clarendon Blvd. That space also serves as its global base of operations. However, the company hasn't released any specific details about the move, according to the Washington Business Journal.
"We're committed to being there, I don't know if we're committed to being in a specific location like we selected," Chief Financial Officer Scott Henry told WBJ's Nate Doughty. "But we're coming to the D.C. area and to Arlington specifically. … It's the place where the future of the industry is being shaped and driven and it's a place where we want to stay present and highly relevant in the discussion and be closer to our customers."
