Disabled Metro Train Complicates Afternoon Commute

Riders evacuated through tunnel. Orange, Silver and Blue line riders encouraged to take the bus as trains single track past Rosslyn.

Riders had to be escorted off of a disabled Metro train in a tunnel near the Rosslyn station Thursday afternoon.

Virginia customers have been told to consider Metrobus 38B as an alternate outside the Ballston-Rosslyn stations.

Delays were registered in both directions at 3:04 p.m., according to Metro's Twitter account.
