The food delivery service has closed up shop after 15 years as competition mounts.

Doctor Delivery is no more.

The service offered delivery from 125 local restaurants, as well as custom courier services. However, the tech boom has resulted in a lot of competition. Companies like GrubHub and Postmates, and soon UberEATS, have been gobbling up market share in the food delivery market.

Doctor Delivery billed itself the "premiere multi-restaurant delivery company serving Arlington, Va. and Greater Washington D.C.," a cached version of its website states. The service allowed delivery as late as 4 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 a.m. every other night.
