Drug Possession, Weapon Charges Filed Against Arlington Man: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — A 21-year-old Arlington man is in jail facing multiple drug possession and distribution charges following his arrest Sunday night in the S. Glebe Road area.

Arlington County Police responded around 11:33 p.m. for the report of a dispute in the 3100 block of S. Fox Street. A preliminary investigation determined that one of the people involved in the dispute, whom they identified as Daquoi Moore of Arlington, had a firearm. Police also discovered that he had illegally possessed prescription medication, as well as amounts of suspected oxycodone and marijuana consistent with drug distribution.

Police arrested Moore and charged him with possession with intent to distribute schedule I/II controlled substance, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of schedule I/II controlled substance. He also was cited on two charges of possession of firearm while in possession of drugs. Moore was then held without bond.
