Dumbbell Thrown At Woman Leads To Arrest Of Arlington Man: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police arrested 32-year-old Kyle Smith of Arlington for throwing a dumbbell at a woman with whom he was arguing. No injuries were reported.

Police determined that Smith was arguing with a woman he knew in the 2100 block of S. Oxford Street in the Green Valley neighborhood. When the victim entered her car, Smith threw a dumbbell, which struck and damaged the car, according to the police report.

APD officers located Smith nearby and took him into custody. Smith was charged with missile into an occupied vehicle, assault and batter, and destruction of property. He was then held without bond.
