Emergency Water Main Repairs Underway In 2 Neighborhoods
Arlington County crews are repairing two water main breaks Tuesday morning, one in Lyon Village and the other in Barcroft.
ARLINGTON, VA -- Crews from the Arlington County Department of Environmental Services are working to report two water main breaks Tuesday morning, one in Barcroft and the other in Lyon Village, according to the official DES Twitter account.
Crews are working to repair a valve leak at 4825 1st St. S. in the Barcroft neighborhood. Fifty customers could be affected by the work, which is estimated to be completed, barring complications, by 3 p.m.
Crews are also working to repair a break in a 6-inch break at 1614 N. Jackson Street in the Lyon Village neighborhood. Seventy customers could be affected and repairs are expected to be completed barring complications by 6 p.m.

Traffic is being diverted around the sites of both repairs.
