A Cry For Help: Issues Facing Our Youth

A Cry For Help:  Issues Facing Our Youth

Did you know suicide rates continue to rise and our youngest citizens are at risk? Did you know suicide ranks as the third leading cause of death among youth (ages 10-24)?  A recent survey of high school students revealed that 16% of students had considered suicide.  Are you a parent, family member, work with or want to help our youth? If so, please join us during National Suicide Prevention Week as we learn about issues facing today's youth. We will watch a documentary entitled a Call for Help, which focuses on youth mental health issues and suicide, followed by a panel discussion on what we can do and what resources are available. Registration is complimentary, but required as limited space is available.
