
DC Fit Week is a FREE week geared towards motivating and empowering individuals and families to lead healthier lives.The obesity rate is through the roof in America. Our economy is fragile, and the average family is finding it harder and harder to save money for the future. It has become an ever increasing challenge to find nutritious foods in our local markets. And, all of this has made it harder to relax and think with clarity and focus. We have organized various sponsors from the areas of financial, physical, mental and nutritional health to offer their products and services to the general public for this free week. Our goal is a simple one; to inspire, educate, and create an awareness about living a significantly healthier life. Classes include: yoga, pilates, meditation, spin, outdoor running, cycling, group fitness, dance, financial workshops, mental health workshops, nutritional cooking classes, and much more.
