Falls Church Man, 21, Faces Burglary Charge For Ballston Break-In

Arlington County Police arrested a 21-year-old Falls Church man for taking items from inside a residential building in Ballston on Friday.

ARLINGTON, VA — A 21-year-old Falls Church man is facing multiple charges, including burglary, for stealing items from a residential building in Ballston on Friday morning.

Officers responded around 7:52 a.m. for the report of a breaking and entering of a building in the 1000 block of N. Stuart Street. Police determined that after entering the building, someone had opened packages and stole items.

The officers located a suspect, whom they identified as Jamie Marquez-Banegas of Falls Church, in a stairwell. After recovering the stolen items, police arrested Marquez-Banegas and charged him with burglary and drunk in public. He was then held without bond.
