Falls Church Man Charged In 'Guns-Drawn' Traffic Stop In Arlington
A Falls Church man was charged in connection with an incident on Friday afternoon where a gun was pointed at a car on Route 50 in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, VA — A Falls Church man was charged in connection with an incident Friday afternoon where he pointed a gun at another car while traveling west on Route 50, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
Manuel Rivas, 21, was charged with brandishing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor because police learned that juveniles were in the car, Arlington County Police said.
At around 1 p.m. on Friday, police received a 911 call from the victim's car about someone in another vehicle brandishing what was believed to be a handgun. The victim’s car followed the suspect’s vehicle on Route 50 until police caught up with them at the intersection with N. Irving Street, ARLnow reported Friday.

Police got out of their vehicles "with guns drawn," stopping the car, according to Statter911.
During the traffic stop, police officers recovered an airsoft gun inside the vehicle that Rivas was riding in, according to police.

Rivas was taken into custody without incident, police said.
