Fatal Shooting In Green Valley Under Investigation: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Officers from the Arlington County Police Department's Homicide/Robbery unit are investigating a fatal shooting of an Arlington man that took place Thursday night in the Green Valley area, according to a police release. This is the county's second homicide in 2020.

Around 9:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of S. Lowell St., for the report of a suspicious vehicle. They found a deceased man in the driver's seat of the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Police identified the victim as Marshall Stephens, 45, of Arlington. The incident remains under investigation.
