Fight Over Cellphone Leads To Arrest In Courthouse Area: Police
Arlington County Police arrested a 53-year-old man, who ended up in a fight when he tried to take a cellphone away from an acquaintance.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested a 53-year-old man in connection with robbery that occurred Tuesday night in the Courthouse area.
Officers responded around 7:03 p.m., for the report of an assault in the 2000 block of 14th St. N.
A preliminary investigation revealed that two men, who knew each other, were talking when one of them stole the cellphone out of the pocket of he other man, according to police. A heated verbal exchange escalated into a fight, during which the cellphone was damaged. The victim sought help in a nearby building.

The responding officers identified the suspect as Nana Kush of no fixed address. They arrested Kush, charging him with robbery and destruction of property. He was then held without bond.
Although the victim sustained minor injuries, he did not require medical help, according to police.
