Filipino Breakfast Sandwich Shop Coming To Pentagon City: Report
Renowned Chef Javier Fernandez will be opening his second Lapu Lapu in the DMV in Pentagon City this spring.
ARLINGTON, VA — Lapu Lapu, a Filipino restaurant specializing in to-go breakfast sandwiches, is slated to open this spring at 1417 S. Fern Street in Pentagon City, according to reports.
Named for the national hero of the Philippines, Lapu Lapu is the brainchild of Chef Javier Fernandez, who owns the Filipino restaurant, Kuya Ja’s Lechon Belly and Lapu Lapu’s location in Gaithersburg, Maryland, according to ARLNow.
In 2024, Bethesda Magazine named Lapu Lapu one of the area’s best breakfast sandwiches.
