Burning Of American Flag Hanging On An Arlington Heights Porch Under investigation
Arlington County police are looking for a man they say set fire to an American flag early Friday morning in Arlington Heights.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are looking for someone who set fire to an American flag that was hanging on the porch on Arlington Heights home early Friday morning, according to the daily crime report.
Officers responded around 3:30 a.m. for the report of a suspicious person in the 3200 block of 6th Street South. Police determined that someone walked up to an American flag on the victim's porch and set fire to it. A witness who saw the flag burning extinguished the fire.
Police described the suspect as a white man, between 18-30 years old, 5 feet, 4 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He was wearing a dark hooded windbreaker, jeans and white sneakers, and was also carrying a backpack.
