Free Outdoor Summer Movie Fest Launches in Crystal City
Films have a spy theme and International Spy Museum will be on hand for some of the films.
The Crystal City BID hosts a free outdoor film festival every Monday in the summer at Bell Street Courtyard in Crystal City. With the help of Moonflicks, a courtyard in Crystal City is transformed into a movie theater. There is no better place to meet friends, bring a picnic, and enjoy an evening under the stars.
Here’s a map and information on parking. Films start at sundown, about 8:30 p.m.
The first of the series was canceled Monday night due to thunderstorms; organizers tweeted out that they would see everyone next Monday night.
Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is to stop by the International Spy Museum table for ticket giveaways, swag dead-drops and a Codebreaker Challenge before select movies.
