Free Redbud Seedlings To Be Offered At Area Farmers Markets
EcoAction Arlington and Dominion Energy's Project Plant It! are distributing free redbud seedlings at Arlington farmers markets.

ARLINGTON, VA — Looking for the perfect flowering tree for your garden or yard? Then check out the free redbud seedling distribution starting this weekend at four Arlington County farmers markets.
EcoAction Arlington and Dominion Energy's Project Plant It! have teamed up to distribute the seedlings at the following markets:
- Westover Farmers Market: Sunday, Oct. 25, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 1644 N McKinley Road
- Ballston Farmers Market: Thursday, Oct. 29, 3-7 p.m., 901 N Taylor St.
- Courthouse Farmers Market: Saturday, Oct. 31, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 1401 N Courthouse Rd.
- Fairlington Farmers Market: Sunday, Nov. 1, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 3308 S Stafford St.
Each seedling is about a foot long with a bare root wrapped in plastic. Online reservations are required. The seedlings will be distributed on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of one seedling per household.
