Free Tickets: Lottery Open Now for 2015 White House Easter Egg Roll

You have 'til Thursday to enter the lottery for tix to annual Easter event held at the White House. Watch a video of highlights below.

On Monday, April 6, the First Family will host the 137th annual White House Easter Egg Roll at the White House in Washington, D.C. Here’s more about the event, from the White House:

This year’s theme is “#GimmeFive,” and more than 35,000 people will gather on the South Lawn to join in the celebrations. Keeping history alive, the event will feature sports and fitness zones, cooking demonstrations, and Easter classics such as the egg roll and egg hunt, live music and storytelling.

In addition to all of the fun, the day’s activities will encourage children to lead healthy, active lives in support of the First Lady’s Let’s Move! initiative.

Tickets for the White House Easter Egg Roll are provided free of charge and will be distributed via an online lottery. Signing up for the lottery is free of charge and tickets for winners are free of charge. Enter the lottery now.

The lottery opened at 12 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 23 and will close on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 12 p.m. EST. Results of the lottery will be available on March 5.
