Next Tuesday is the 16th Annual Clarendon-Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade. The Mardi Gras parade is the largest in the DC area–last year, there were 50 organizations registered, but sadly the weather in 2014 was uncooperative. This year’s parade will start Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 8 p.m.

The Clarendon Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade is a family-friendly event. Thousands of local residents and visitors will line the parade route along Wilson Boulevard from North Barton Street to Washington Boulevard.

The pre-parade party will start, as it always does, at Bayou Bakery; this year, they are taking the party outside from 6-9 pm, so be sure to stop by for the fun.
