Giant Celebrates Renovated Virginia Square Grocery Store

Renovations to the Giant store in Virginia Square are now complete, with updates including a larger produce section and a new soup and salad bar.

The grocery store at 3450 Washington Blvd. was open during the renovations to the store, according to a news release from Giant.

The store also now has six new self-checkout lanes, a new bakery, more gourmet cheese offerings, and more organic food.

To celebrate the end of construction, the store is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday followed by four weeks of special tastings for customers, raffles, and prizes.
