Girl Scout Cookie Sales Coming Up In Arlington
It's Girl Scout Cookie season, and residents can buy the sweet treats online from a Arlington troop or at an upcoming in-person sale.

ARLINGTON, VA — Girl Scout Cookie season has returned. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, there are still multiple ways for Arlington residents to order their beloved Thin Mints, Samoas, or Trefoils.
This year's cookie season began on Feb. 1 with virtual and socially distant cookie events. Options include virtual cookie booths, drive-thru locations, online ordering, and delivery through a new national collaboration with Grubhub.
Cookie-loving Arlington residents will also be able to support local Girl Scout Troops in person, at one of the many cookie booths that pop up around the region. To order cookies, people can also contact a local Girl Scout, or order online from Troop 997005.

"We're proud of the resourceful ways Girl Scouts are running their cookie businesses safely and using their earnings to make the world a better place," said Judith Batty, interim CEO of Girls Scouts of The USA, in a press release. "This season, our girls will continue to exemplify what the cookie program taught them—how to think like entrepreneurs, use innovative sales tactics, and pivot to new ways of doing business when things don't go according to plan."
Girl Scout Cookie sales help fund programs, experiences, and learning for Girl Scouts and their troops throughout the year. Cookie sales fund programs to teach Girl Scouts different life skills, and the sales themselves teach them effective business techniques and principles.
