Governor to Hold Latino Summit in Arlington
Confab's purpose is to inform Latino Virginians about state resources and services available to them.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe plans to hold a Latino Summit in Arlington next month to inform Latino Virginians about state resources and services available to them.
The summit, scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, will also provide McAuliffe’s administration with input on issues impacting the Latino community in areas of education, health and human resources, workforce development and small business.
The summit will be held at George Mason University’s Arlington campus at 3351 N. Fairfax Dr.

This summit will highlight the Governor’s mission in creating a “New Virginia Economy” and the critical role the Latino community contributes to a diverse economy and growing workforce.
