Grand Larceny, Vehicle Tampering In Crystal City Investigated: Police
Police are looking for a man they say tampered with vehicles in two Crystal City parking garages and stole a 2012 Kia from a third garage.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are looking for a man they say tampered with vehicles in two Crystal City garages and stole a car from a third on Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded around 3:14 p.m. to the report of a vehicle tampering in a parking garage located in the 2800 block of Crystal Drive.
Officers determined that after entering the garage between 1:38 p.m. and 2:27 p.m., a man tampered with two vehicles and a motorcycle. After the man was confronted verbally by security personnel, he left the area.

Investigators determined that someone tampered with a vehicle parked in a garage in the 3400 block of Potomac Avenue and also stole personal items from the vehicle, according to police.
ACPD received a report that a 2012 Kia with the Ohio license plate HVB2615 was stolen from a parking garage in the 1700 block of Crystal Drive.

Police described the suspect in this case as a Black man, who was about 30 years old and stood 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8 in height. He was wearing all black clothing at the time of these events.
