Grand Opening for Lego Store at Pentagon City Mall This Weekend

ARLINGTON, VA — There's a brand new Lego store opening at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City this weekend, and they're holding a grand opening party that will featuring building events and other promotions.

The new Lego store will feature a "kid-chic design, innovative displays and hands-on play areas that deliver an engaging, entertaining and fun experience for families," according to a statement.

The event will run from Friday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 2, with doors opening at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

"Guests will have the opportunity to help a real LEGO Master Builder construct a HUGE 8’ LEGO model of Jay, one of the main characters from LEGO NINJAGO," the statement reads. "All participants will receive a certificate of achievement. The build will take place each day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m."

The first 400 customers each day to make a "qualifying purchase" will get a free Lego backpack on Friday, a free limited-edition Lego store set on Saturday and a free exclusive Lego minifigure set on Sunday.
