Polcie Recover Evidence Of Gunshots Being Fired At Westover Residence On Sunday Morning

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a report of shoots being fired early Monday morning in the Westover area, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 9:51 a.m. for the late report of suspicious circumstances in the 1100 block of N. Kensington Street. Arriving on the scene, they discovered damage to the door of a residential building. They also recovered evidence that gunshots had been fired into it.

A preliminary investigation revealed that residents heard gunshots around 5 a.m. No injuries were reported and police have not released a description of any suspects.
