Hate Group To Meet At Crystal City Hotel: Report

ACT for America, an anti-Muslim group classified as a hate group by SPLC, will meet at the Crystal City Hyatt next month.

ARLINGTON, VA -- An organization that has been identified as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center will meet at the Crystal City Hyatt next month, according to a report.

The Huffington Post reports that ACT for America will have its annual conference Sept. 4-5 at the hotel. The group is led by Brigitte Gabrielle, who has been called "America's most prominent anti-Muslim activist" by The Atlantic.

DCist reports that it will cost you $299 to attend the event, which marks ACT for America's 10th anniversary.

The Hyatt plans to go ahead with hosting the event.

"The hotel does not unlawfully discriminate against groups who wish to hold lawful meetings at the hotel," Derrick Morrow, general manager at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, told HuffPost in an emailed statement. "The views and opinions expressed by hotel guests or groups do not necessarily reflect those of the hotel, its owners or colleagues."

ACT for America claims to have a membership of 750,000 people, and Gabriel reportedly boasts about her access to the Trump Administration.
